Open Content-based AVR Battle Droid
Welcome to the home of exciting AVR®-based combat. The Battle Droids game is part Role Playing Game (you gain levels, choose feats, etc), part Real Time Strategy (you wage real-time combat against your enemy, or as a team), and part custom bot building (at certain levels and with certain feats, you gain the ability to outfit your droid with real-world hardware as well as being able to develop custom code you write to run on your Battle Droid for defense and attacks).
A Battle Droid is an AVR® microcontroller running the BattleDroid firmware. This firmware turns your AVR into a lean, mean, fighting machine, and through the accompanying software, lets your droid connect to the Internet to wage war against other Battle Droids.
No Two Droids are the Same
Along with the firmware and client-side software, the actual AVR machine can be customized with sensors ranging from light-to-frequency sensors to magnetic field sensors to temperature sensors to gas sensors. Advanced Battle Droids have even gained the ability to connect other AVR cores to further enhance their combat, computer targeting, or defenses. These components play a role in the overall combat and game play of the system.

You can download the firmware and software, read through the rulebook and/or firmware documentation and get your Arduino or custom AVR online. Once online, you can register your droid and start your Droid customization by choosing its model, feats, weapon arrays, computer systems, electronic countermeasures, and the chassis you want it all to combine to.
Once you have finished those initial steps and have registered yourself as the pilot and your AVR as your mech, the only thing you have left is to look for other Battle Droids and avoid them, make an alliance with them, or totally decimate them. The choice is yours. Gain in levels and increase your abilities and earn the capability to install HID (Human Interface Device) gear and weapons.
